12 Days of Christmas Music, Day 1

Something new this year: today and the next eleven days I'm highlighting a Christmas music video!

Kicking things off is my favorite new holiday song for this year: "Holidays" by Josie Dunne. The tune is catchy—employing a sample from "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies"—and is the perfect Christmas song for 2020: kind of happy and joyful, but not too much so, and the video features her hanging out at home.

Commentary: 

• The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, the book that dominated the top of Amazon comics chart for the majority of 2020, returns to the #1 spot for the first full week of the holiday shopping season.
• A new volume of Demon Slayer is the top debut this week; it is joined by new volumes of the manga series Dragon Ball Super, Jujutsu Kaisen, and a Junji Ito collection: Remina; plus the Garfield 2021 Day-to-Day Calendar.
• Wash you hands. Wear a face mask when in public, enclosed spaces. Practice sensible social distancing. Read comics!

• The Far Side Theme-a-Month 2021 Off-The-Wall Calendar returns to the top spot as we kick off the holiday shopping season with the Black Friday comics chart!

• For the second time in three weeks we have a new title debuting at the top of the chart:
  A Wealth of Pigeons, a collection of cartoons by Harry Bliss & Steve Martin.
• Also debuting this week are pre-orders for two
  Critical Role OGNs: Mighty Nein Origins—Jester & Mighty Nein Origins—Caleb, both due out in July 2021.
• A peeking in with debuts near the end of the chart are One of Those Days (a Webcomic collection) and the Pearls Before Swine 2021 Day-to-Day Calendar.
• Like last week, this week's chart was snapshot on Saturday instead of Friday.

• The top debut this week is also a calendar: the Peanuts 2021 Day-to-Day Calendar.
• All the other debuts these week are manga: new volumes of  Jujutsu Kaisen and The Promised Neverland; and an Attack on Titan box set.
• Note: this week's chart was compiled on Saturday, instead of the usual Friday—I was distracted and just plumb forgot.
