Commentary:

• Hyperbole and a Half regains its top spot this week. It is currently #102 on the overall Amazon books chart.
• The top debut this week at an impressive #2 is the final Locke & Key collection, Alpha & Omega. This is an impressive showing for a comics property which, while it has dallied in the past with media adaptations, is so far a comic series with no other mass media ties.
• Also debuting this week is the first hardcover collection of Ennis & Dillon's Preacher, which is absolutely due to the announcement yesterday that AMC has picked it up for a television series. Time for all the agents and actors in Hollywood to read up on what many are no doubt hoping will be the new Walking Dead.
• Rounding out this week's debuts are a hardcover collection of the three Avatar, The Last Airbender: The Search volumes, and the Omnibus collection of Ellis & Cassaday's Planetary.
• It's a pretty good week for DC on the chart; in addition to the debut showing for Preacher & Planetary and the requisite Batman volumes, The Sandman and Fables both see their first volumes return to the chart, perennial Alan Moore books Watchmen and V for Vendetta continue to chart, and the first two issues of Injustice Year Two remain as well, for a total of fourteen items on the chart this week. Marvel on the other hand see their last week's #1 The Ultimates tumble completely off the charts, with the Kindle edition of Stephen King's N. their only remaining top fifty entry. (The Marvel Encyclopedia is published by DK...)
• Also having a good week is Attack on Titan, with six volumes of Hajime Isayama's manga making the chart this week.
