Commentary:  

• Apparently MrBallen is a YouTuber? Who deals with true crime stories? And he has a graphic novel—MrBallen Presents: Strange, Dark & Mysterious: The Graphic Stories—coming out in October? The pre-order for the hardcover is the top debut this week and also the new top of the comics chart, and the simultaneous paperback charts a bit further down the list.
• After a few weeks mysterious absent from the Amazon comics chart (during which we interpolated its position based on sales rank) the final Amulet volume re-appeared on the chart. But for how long...
• A bunch of pre-orders for IDW Kindle editions must have been posted this week, because a whole bunch of them—mostly Sonic and Star Trek—showed up on the chart.

Commentary:  

• The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse returns to the top of the chart; the last time it topped the chart was over four months ago (November 10, 2023).
• The top debut is the Kindle edition of the third issue of Fall of the House of X. The top print debut is the print edition of The Crow: Special Edition, boosted by the release of the trailer for the upcoming movie. (The Kindle edition showed up on the chart a few weeks ago on a deep discount). The other print debut this week is the pre-order for Junji Ito's Stitches.
• There's only 49 items on the chart this week because apparently on Friday morning I had difficulty counting.

Commentary:  

• The top debut and new #1 this week is the pre-order for the Kindle edition of next month's issue of Batman.
• It's followed closely by the bargain-priced first volume in Abrams' Dune adaptation. Because movie + bargain = sales!
• The passing of manga creator Akira Toriyama sees his Sand Land—which was released way back in 2003—come in on the chart this week as the top print debut. Also showing up are the previously-charting Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater and Dragon Ball Complete Box Set. 
• Also returning to the chart this week are a couple of Avatar: The Last Airbender omnibuses, no doubt as follow-on from the Netflix live action adaptation.

Commentary:  

• After a one week break, Waverider bumps back to the top of the chart this week (with an asterisk). 
• The top debut is a new Kindle issue of Resurrection of Magneto, leading the typical batch of Kindle single issues this week. Notably, last week's top book—Ultimate Spider-Man #2—doesn't disappear completely this week like most Kindle singles typically do.
• The only print debut this week is The Crow: Special Edition hardcover; somewhat odd in that the Kindle version has been on deep discount for a couple of weeks now. I'm unsure if this is a splashover effect, or from anticipation of the forthcoming movie, or if something else is going on?
