Commentary:

• The third Saga volume returns to the top of the chart, and is #101 on the overall Amazon books chart.
• Last week's Walking Dead surge abates a bit, though it's still strong with three of the top five and fourteen of the top fifty. The new issue on Kindle debuts at a strong #4.  
• The only other debuts this week are two Captain America: The Winter Soldier collections, one the ultimate paperback collection, the other the Kindle edition. Often interest in the comics is stronger before the movie comes out than after, but Captain America: The Winter Soldier is an exception.
• So… The big news yesterday was that Amazon is purchasing comiXology. Could make things interesting. I've always favored comiXology for digital comics over Kindle because the Kindle editions are usually of noticeable lesser quality. It also consolidates the two biggest digital comics publishers into one company, which is troubling. We'll have to see how things shake out in practice.
