Commentary:

• It's almost time for the Fall college semester to begin, and that brings Persepolis back to the top of the sales chart.  In its wake are perennial college class favorites like American Born Chinese, Maus, Fun Home, and Understanding Comics. 
• Legend of Korra may drop to second place this week, but its release also sees the Kindle edition show up in fourth place, and the second volume (due out in early 2018) also return to the chart.
• What is the most popular manga these days? Based on six of its nine extant volume appearing in the top fifty this week, I'd say that a good case can be made for My Hero Academia.
• The top debut this week is the latest volume of Attack on Titan (though the Kindle edition premiered on the chart last week...) It is closely followed by a comics adaptation of George R. R. Martin's The Mystery Knight.
• Also debuting this week are collections of Motor Girl and Serenity; new volumes of the manga series Tokyo Ghoul & Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid; and the Kindle single issues of The Dresden Files: Dog Men and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
