Commentary:

• No, I have no idea why the pre-order for an issue of Absolute Superman debuts in the top spot this week. Though it often charts, of the three debut Absolute series, Absolute Superman seems to be the weakest sales-wise of the bunch. Either there's a sudden surge of interest in Absolute Superman, or it's a weird chart-placement timing thing (I'd wager on the latter...)
• For whatever reason this week a bunch of comics that were previously confined to the kids' comics chart show up on the regular chart this week, most prominently a bunch of Dog Man books and some Warriors graphic novels. This tends to happen from time-to-time, and then a handful of weeks later they mostly disappear again. It would be nice if they stayed around this time, but I'm not counting on it.
• Speaking of...: This week's top non-single issue debut is the pre-order for the first volume of a new Warriors graphic novel series, and the pre-orders for a new Dog Man and Wings of Fire graphic novels debut as well. A new volume of Dandadan rounds out this week's debuts.
