Commentary:  

• The year's first big release is here: Waverider, the final volume of Kazu Kibuishi's Amulet series, moves into the top spot with its release this week after many weeks milling about the lower portions of the chart in pre-release. The box set containing the first eight volumes returns to the list, and I suspect that the individual previous volumes are being sequestered in Amazon's kids GN chart and thus don't appear here.
• This week's other big release—a new volume of Solo Leveling—moves up to the #3 spot, and the Kindle edition also debuts this week.
• This week's top new item is the first issue of Resurrection of Magneto. The top print debut is a forthcoming volume of Dragon Ball Super.

Commentary:  

• The first two issues of February's weekly Batman story "The Joker Year One" debut in the top two spots on this week's chart, signaling a strong interest in the event.
• Plenty of Kindle single issue debuts this week, but the only print debut is a new volume of One-Punch Man.
• Just as an aside, it seems odd that no one is publishing a Barbie comic right now?

Commentary:  

• It's a big week for Ultimate Spider-Man—on the week of its release, the first issue on Kindle jumps way up to the top spot, and pre-orders for the second and third issues debut in the top ten. To top things off, the pre-order for the eventual collected edition is this week's top print debut.
• Also debuting this week is the pre-order for a forthcoming volume of Solo Leveling, and several previous volumes return to the top fifty this week. Rounding out this week's print debuts is the latest volume of Komi Can't Communicate.
• Kind of a muted University Effect so far this year: Persepolis moves up the chart, Understanding Comics returns this week, as do a couple of versions of Maus.

• The Far Side 2024 Off-the-Wall Calendar returns to the top of the chart after a week at #2. The last week of December is traditionally a good week for comic calendar sales; several return to the chart this week, and the 2024 Argyle Sweater calendar makes its debut.
• This week's top debut is the Kidnle single issue of Immortal X-Men #18. Other single issues include Duke #1, Timeless #1, and X-Force #47. Also debuting this week is a volume of manga Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time on Kindle.
• A huge jump up on the chart for volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen, as the second season of the anime wrapped up airing this week.

Commentary:  

• The much-awaited fifth volume of Alice Oseman's Heartstopper OGN series was released this week, and waiting until just before Christmas doesn't seem to have hurt sales at all as it moves into the top position on the chart this week.
• The top debut this week is an upcoming issue of Transformers on Kindle. The only print debut is the Comics from Pants Pants 2024 Day-to-Day Calendar.
• Last week there were two volumes of manga series Jujutsu Kaisen in the top fifty; this week there are eight. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
