Commentary:

• As was expected, the passing of the Father's Day holiday resulted in Jeffrey Brown's Vader's Little Princess dropping out of the top spot. Not as expected is that is isn't the new Walking Dead trade in the #1 position, but rather the first issue of the New 52 Superman comic on the Kindle, no doubt buoyed by the newsletter sign-up promotion. 
• Also surprising is the fact that in the wake of Man of Steel's blockbuster opening weekend at the cineplex, Superman #1 is the only Superman title in the top 50. To be fair, earlier in the week there was some bubbling up of various Superman titles (Superman: Red Son, All-Star Superman, and Superman: Birthright) in the bottom portion of the list, but now it is just one week out from the opening and interest has already waned. That has to be disappointing to the folks at DCE's comics division. Batman, whose movie came out last year, does better this week than Superman.
• No surprise however is that the latest issue of Injustice is once again the top debut of the week. Also debuting area new Big Nate collection on the Kindle, and the Kindle edition of the new Walking Dead collection.
• Marvel's Pacific Rim OGN tie-in, which debuted high two weeks ago bu tthen fell off the chart last week, is back at a very respectable #13 position three weeks away from the movie's release. If interest holds up, this is primed to be Marvel's best foray into the bookstore market in quite a while.
• Injustice Watch: Five issues make the chart this week, the same as last week.
• Dead Watch: Five Walking Dead collections on the chart this week, up one from last week, though the two Compendia drop out of the top 10.
• Diary Watch: The Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries franchises between them take up sixteen of the slots on the chart this week, down one from last week. 
• Kindle Watch: Eighteen of the chart positions this week are taken up by Kindle editions, up two from last week.
