Commentary:  

• The passing of creator Marjane Satrapi this week saw several of her works entering the top fifty chart, with The Complete Persepolis in the top spot, and both Woman, Life, Freedom and the Spanish edition of Persépolis charting for the first time.
• The top debut this week was the pre-order for an upcoming issue of Absolute Batman.
• The top non-single debut this week was the first volume of Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki's classic manga series Billy Bat, originally published in Japan in 2008 and finally making its English-language debut.
• Other debuts this week include the first collection of the current Batman series and a new volume of Lore Olympus.
