What is your favorite comic book-based movie that is not super-hero related?
For quality I'd opt for American Splendor, but for sheer entertainment value it would have to be Josie and the Pussycats, which took the Archie comics property and turned it into a funny, biting satire of the music industry.
What about you: which non-super-hero comic book movie is your favorite?

I'm voting for either:
American Splendor
Road to Perdition
Men in Black (it was basd on a comic, right?)
If I was forced to choose, I'd probably agree and go with American Splendor, though Men in Black was great - they're just totally different movies.
Ghost World!
History of Violence
I liked Ghost World, although if I broaden the category to include TV, I'd say the Japanese soap Kimi Wa Petto (based on the manga titled Tramps Like Us over here).
Ghost World, but only after some thought.. Road To Perdition seems sort of weak compared to the original material, and I actually think American Splendor improved massively on the original works. I've yet to see A History Of Violence, though.
