Commentary:
* Scott Pilgrim may have flopped at the box office, but his comics defy the expected wisdom and continue to sell well, even better than before the movie was released. Book 1 retakes the top spot on the chart and currently sits at #11 on the overall. The other volumes sit at #15, 16 & 19. Lost at Sea also returns to the chart at #17. Wimpy Kid #5 slides to #5 on the chart (#28 overall). (The next on the comics chart, Persepolis, is #355 overall, which gives you an idea of just how much Scott Pilgrim & Wimpy Kid are ruling over all others right now).
* Blackest Night seems to be losing its luster, with only two of its hardcover volumes charting this week. Interest in Walking Dead remains strong.
* The only debut this week is Mark Criley's Brody's Ghost at #40.

There must be other comics to convert in Hollywood other than superhero stories. We saw Road to Perdition and History of Violence do well and Kick Ass and Scott Pilgrim flop like fish on the deck. Hollywood seems to be squinting at the fine print, rather than the whole genre.
