Commentary:  

• No sooner did we say last week that Dog Man: Big Jim Begins would be at the top of the chart for a good while than we were proven wrong. We forgot that the end of December/start of January is calendar time! The Far Side Off-the-Wall 2025 Calendar moves up into the top position this week, several other calendars move up on the chart, and Comics from Pants Pants, The Little World of Liz Climo, Non Sequitur desk calendars debut, along with a Garfield wall calendar.
• The top debut this week is the new issue of Absolute Superman. Aside from calendars, we also get the print debuts of the first G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero! compendium, and a forthcoming, volume of Destroy All Humans. They Can't Be Regenerated.
