Commentary:

  • A new number one this week, as the Kindle edition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #1 makes its debut in the top spot today. The pre-order for the second issue also debuts this week later down the chart.
  •  I'll admit to being a bit suprised that Solutions and Other Problems didn't stay on top for more consecutive weeks. Not only was it knocked off by the Turtles, is fell all the way to the fourth spot. I filly expect it to remain in the top ten throughout the holidays, but it will have a tough go making it back on top as the end-of-the-year calendar onslaught begins.
  • Speaking of calendars: the Cartoons from The New Yorker desk calendar and the
Pusheen wall calendar debut this week; The Far Side and Dilbert desk calendars are both in the top ten; and the Far Side wall calendar is also sticking around. Which calendars will join them in the top fifty before the year is out?
  • Rounding out the debuts this week are a couple of volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen; the paperback edition of Sapiens: A Graphic History; the pre-order for the next volume of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba; and The World of Warcraft: Comic Collection.
  • Hey look: this chart came out on time this week!!!!
  • Wash your hands. Wear a face mask when in public, enclosed spaces. Practice sensible social distancing. And don't go to any Halloween parties—read comics instead!
