Making a Profit

One of the best TV shows you never saw is finally coming to DVD!

TV Shows on DVD has the news that Profit, the extremely short-lived (just four of ten episodes aired) FOX series will be out on DVD by the end of the summer.

(via Crocodile Caucus)

Now if only we can get Cupid, EZ Streets, Misfits of Science, and the second season of Twin Peaks on DVD, I'll be a happy lad.

Or Action, Brisco County, American Gothic, and Strange Luck!

Oh yeah, especially Brisco & Gothic; I'm pretty sure we'll see Brisco someday (all those cultish Campbell fans, y'know), but who knows about Gothic...

In a discussion over on Whedonesque, Joss mentions that he and David Greenwalt were trying to get Adrian Pasdar to guest on the final season of Angel as one of the senior partners. Which would have been soooo cool for the five of us who would have gotten the reference...

Personally, besides every other series mentioned, I would love to see the Adam West BATMAN and the television GREEN HORNET released by Fox on DVD.

(I've seen ads for the Green Hornet - however, I suspect that they're nothing but glorified bootlegs...)
